Hideous House
I have acted without conpunction and for that I owe you an act of contrition.
In the summer of 2020 I directed, produced, and starred in my debut feature film, The Ames House. I worked with a $0 budget, and it was shot, scored, and edited by a group of just four artists, myself included.
The film bridges cinema, writing, and dance, using text and dance to construct a dreamlike narrative set in abandoned and decaying environments throughout rural North Carolina.
Synopsis:
Two strangers, opposite in every way possible, bond over a strange and inexplicable ailment. The pair search for the mysterious house rumored to provide a cure, but secrets and troubles lie beneath good intentions.
